The opening event for the weekend is a Beer & Wine sampling, Thursday, January 28th. In past years, this annual event has been held in the Old Courthouse, Woodstock Opera House and Emerson Lofts. This year the event moves to the newly renovated D.C. Cobbs on Main Street.

This event is a fundraiser for the Family Health Partnership Clinic that provides quality healthcare for residents of McHenry County. The organization serves the uninsured and under-insured with a committed group of volunteer physicians and dedicated staff. 

This year in addition to the wine tasting, there will be beer sampling. Food will be available.

Tickets are $25 or 2 for $45 and include a souvenir Groundhog Day wine or beer glass.
